It was graet to see the before and after photos. Do you have a photo of your back like the one you have at the end? It would be nice to see.

I have a 33 Lumbar curve that the doctors say does not need to be operated on, something I do not agree with. When I had an xray about a year ago it was 29.7 so there is a difference. It's nice to know others are going through the same, especially as a female.

I would seek another opinion from one to two more doctors if you can. Being under 40 degrees is good but having progession, especialy of 3 degrees in one year is not, especially if you have a mature skeletal system.

I saw three doctors when I was considering surgery. Two said I needed surgery and one said I didn't need it now, that I could wait until I was in my sixties because he would need to fuse my entire spine. So, I would see someone else just to see what they recommend, and ask them why they would treat you the way they intend.

The last time I had xrays of my back was this summer and I did not get a copy of the films. I will post a picture of my back so you can see how light my scar is-you can barely see it.

I have been living with scoliosis since I was 16, which is 24 years total. i have had 12 surgeries with little or no success. i currently have 58 degree thoracic curvature and a 48 degree lumbar curvature. With all this said, I am still very thankful & blessed to be alive. Everyday holds it's own small miracles!
