Here is a picture of back 5 years after having a spinal fusion. As you can see, the scar is hardly visible. Even though my back looks straight, my right shoulder blade still sticks out a little bit.

Wow you scar has really cleared up. Thank you for your advice, I will do just that. However in the UK its alt differene what it comes to the health care system. The doctor stated the reason for the 3 % difference could be down to the way I was standing when these when the x-ray was taken.....this has been going on for so long.
I have an MRI scan this cominf Friday and will be sure to ask for copies off all photos taken and see if they could give me copies of my x-rays.
Do you have full movement of your back, if not, where are you limited. I do a lot of weights and not sure if this will have an affect on my back.....what do you think? How long did it take you to recover.
Do you have some photos I can see of your back pre surgery!maybe you
